A good ceremony with beautiful words, what does the help of a funeral celebrant cost? That depends on what you ask me to do for you.

I can help you in the following ways:
  • Guidance through the funeral ceremony
  • Writing a speech, welcome and/or word of thanks for you
  • Giving helpful feedback and tips on your text
Good to know: in the Netherlands you will usually receive compensation from your insurance for using a ritual celebrant, and the rates are exempt from VAT.

Package 1:

Guidance

In the days after the death, I will join you to guide you in shaping the ceremony. We share memories and choose words, music and rituals that suit the deceased and the relatives. Together we will make it a dignified and beautiful farewell.

What you get:

  • Guidance of the ceremony

Package 2:

Speech

You will receive an appropriate speech based on an extensive preliminary discussion so that you can speak with confidence during the meeting at the funeral or cremation. You fully support what you are going to say and the words suit you.


What you get:

  • Extensive preliminary discussion
  • Appropriate, comforting and dignified words
  • 2 feedback rounds

Rate: 250,-

Package 3:

Welcome & thank you

With the welcome you set the tone, and with your thank you you determine the impression that the ceremony leaves behind. We ensure that everyone who is present and involved feels seen and heard.

What you get:
  • Enlightening preliminary discussion
  • Appropriate words
  • 2 feedback rounds

Rate: 120,-

Package 4:

Feedback on your text

Have you written something yourself, a funeral speech, a welcome speech or a thank you speech? Very good! Use my expertise and get constructive feedback to make your story as clear as possible.

What you get:
  • Written comments and proposed changes
  • Rereading of your final version and final instructions
  • Sometimes a little more time is needed, I clearly indicate this in advance

Contact and travel costs

I would like to come to you. This is the best option for the preliminary discussion on ritual guidance and speech. I charge travel costs and sometimes travel time for this.

We have telephone contact or video call about a welcome speech and thank you. Feedback on your text? You email or app me and I respond in writing and, if necessary, also by telephone. Feel free to call me if you want to ask something.

  • No travel costs under 35 km
  • Above 35 km you pay 19 ct/km
  • From 95 km travel time allowance of 45,- per hour
